Here are Sam's suggestions of what to do with a bowl.
First, of course, is to dump out anything that is inside.
Then, hold it up to your face and talk through it to the person next to you. The echo is hilarious.
Sucking on the bowl is good fun.
And lastly, why not turn it upside down and THEN use your spoon?

Great pics! So, did you get a high chair then? What do you say? Good purchase or unnecessary?
I always vote for no high chair. They are too huge and a drain on space. Get a booster sit and things will work out fine unless space is not an issue.
Yah... we were originally of the same mind as Jared and Mary. We had a booster seat forever and I delayed the purchase of a highchair until last month. Maybe it's just Sam's personality, but it is LEAPS and BOUNDS easier to feed him in a high chair. In his booster seat, all he wanted to do was play with the straps which secured the seat to the chair - and happened to be within his reach...
